AspEdit manual      Along parallel dialog box

Purpose

Access

• Via the Add element dialog box, to create a new parallel segment,
  
• By double clicking on any line belonging to an existing parallel segment in the Area dialog box.

Functioning

• At least one element must be defined before the border segment, in the Area dialog box.  The last point of it will be used as the starting point of the segment.
  
  
• Define the end point.  Only the longitude must be given: by definition the end latitude is the same as the start latitude.
• Tip: use the copy / paste function: copy the longitude from the aeronautical publication, and paste them in the end point field.
• See coordinate conventions for rules concerning coordinate formatting.
  
• Always double check the result in the static field near the bottom.
